Leadership Training at the MN Coalition for the Homeless

This week has been busy, thanks to the @Northwest Minnesota Foundation picking YESS for a leadership and board development training grant. Two of YESS' board members and Director attended the #mnconf in Duluth, MN. A few sessions attended included Ending Student Homelessness, Youth Driven Strategies Supporting Health and Housing, Mental Health and Housing, Tribal Collaborations Pathways, HHSA (Homelessness, Housing, & Supportive Services Administration), and Keeping Families Together.

Each of us participated in a listening session, during which we worked to help create potential statewide solutions to ending homelessness in MN that will be considered for future legislation.

Many connections were made to similar agencies or organizations that support our mission!
