Indigenous & Community Health Fair

Youth Emergency Shelter & Supports, along with Essentia Health, invite you to participate as a community resource spreading knowledge of the services your agency provides to our diverse communities. We are pleased to announce the upcoming Indigenous and Community Health Fair, an event dedicated to enhancing health and wellness within our community.

Time: Noon- 5:00 pm 

 Location: Park Rapids Armory Arts & Events Center, Park Rapids, MN 56470 

  This event will feature a variety of offerings, including: - Complementary health screenings and resources - Indigenous dancers, drummers, drumming, and other indigenous art forms. - Engaging activities for children and families - Local vendors and community organizations

Indigenous Dancers

Indigenous Drummers

Indigenous leaders to perform smudging

Beading Instructor

Indigenous food to be served

***With grant funding to host this event, we can provide stipends to cover the travel and supplies any indigenous partners may need.
