Cultivate March Edition

This month the students in the Park Rapids ALC learned a little Karate from Dustin Wagner. It allowed students to get up and move around while learning some self defense moves. Dustin educated the students the goal of self defense is to "run or get away, but these are tools for you to use if you cannot." Even the ALC teachers and YESS Director participated! There were many good laughs to be had as we were no experts, but he did say we are no longer "beginners."

The goal of the program is to provide students the skills not in hopes they will need it, but if they do hopefully they will remember what they learned.
