We love FUNDRAISERS!

First, we hope your new year is off to a great start! We would like to invite you all to visit and participate in a few upcoming fundraisers for Youth Emergency Shelter & Supports (YESS). You will find the flyers attached.

1. Revel Brewing is hosting Charity Night for YESS. $1.00 from each beer sold goes to the YESS 50/50 Raffle. Stop in and donate to get your name in for a Revel Brewing Gift Card, with live music. January 28, 2026, from 5 pm-8 pm. Dawn Rossbach is donating an art piece for a silent auction.

2. Burger Bonanza & Side Show on March 21, 2026, at the Park Rapids American Legion. A link to the event is available on our Facebook page. It is similar to the Chili & Hotdish Cook-off that we did last year. Get your team or business registered today.

Feel free to print and share the flyers! #fundraisers #Minnesota #hamburger #contest #nonprofit #youthservices #communitysupport #brewery #ParkRapidsMN #Nevismn #Akeleymn #laportemn

Lion Heart Experience Success

Thank you to The Nevis Public School for hosting The Lion Heart Experience! They may have had a frozen trailer upon landing in Minnesota, but the temperature the next day was HOTT!

You can find videos and pictures on our Facebook and Instagram pages: @YESSHubbard

Thank you to Laporte Public School for sending students!

T-shirts are on their way, and resources are also coming! Ask your teachers for the Dream and Hustle App code!

Lion Heart Experience January 30th

Thank you to our grantors, with whom we were able to route funding to host The Lion Heart Experience at Nevis Public School, with Laporte Public HS in attendance!

Sadly, we were unable to hold a community showing, but all donations were rerouted to provide youth with take-home resources, resources for staff, and resources forschool administration!

These resources will give our youth and school service adults the ability to connect to their sense of worth and help those around them expand their sense of worth into excellence, no matter what is happening.
